Bread Oven - getting plastered and rebuilding our old oven ready for use next summer!

Oven nearly done -it just needs a floor of fire bricks set close onto sand. They used crushed charcoal in some floors but sand is finer and makes it easier to get the floor level.

 

Cleaning up the floor using an 80% dilution of linseed Oil and White Sprits painted o by brush then polished

 

 

The other floors are more worn and don't have the same 'skin' of the kitchen floor.
